Our Story

618 Bees was built to close a gap we saw constantly in legal practice: business owners spending weeks chasing paperwork, filing errors, and compliance obligations they didn't even know existed for problems that shouldn't take more than a few clicks to solve.

So we built a better way. Founded in June 2018, our team has combined hands-on legal and corporate governance experience with a technology-first platform, so that registering a company, filing your annual returns, or getting compliant with Nigeria's data protection and tax obligations doesn't require you to become an expert in any of it yourself.

Today, 618 Bees supports founders, SMEs, and growing companies across Nigeria — and, increasingly, founders incorporating from outside Nigeria with both fast, self-service filing tools and, where a matter needs it, direct access to qualified legal practitioners for advisory and transactional work.

Our Mission

618 Bees exists to motivate, inspire, and support entrepreneurs and business owners in building successful, compliant businesses. We believe any dreamer can, through hard work and consistency, succeed at starting, running, and growing a business and we're here to make the paperwork, filings, and compliance side of that simple, fast, and reliable.

We've helped over 400 entrepreneurs start and maintain their businesses, and with every service, you have the option to speak directly with a lawyer through our Call Center.

Meet Our Founder

Efe Majemite - Co-Founder & CEO (Chief Enthusiasm Officer), 618 Bees | Managing Counsel, Hebrew & Leo Solicitors & Legal Consultants

Efe is an entrepreneur and business lawyer with over 19 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, regulatory advisory, and corporate governance. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007 and holds an LL.M in International Business Law from Coventry University, United Kingdom. She is a Chartered Secretary (ACIS), a Certified Corporate Governance Auditor & Board Evaluator (ICSAN), and a Member of the Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN).

Efe founded Hebrew & Leo Solicitors & Legal Consultants in 2014, and went on to build 618 Bees in June 2018 — driven by the belief that great legal support shouldn't be slow, intimidating, or reserved only for people who can afford hourly billing. She leads 618 Bees' strategy and advisory practice, and stays personally involved in the firm's most complex governance, transactional, and restructuring engagements. She also acts as a professional nominee director and nominee shareholder for a portfolio of Nigerian companies with foreign beneficial ownership, on a strictly non-executive, fully indemnified basis.
