What does the NIS Quality Mark certificate stand for?

January 31, 2020

The NIS quality certification is part of the certificates issued by the SON Governing council for excellence in products and production processes.

The NIS Quality Mark certification is given under the Voluntary Product Certification Scheme (NIS Mark of Quality) to products for excellence in compliance with the Nigerian Industrial standards at production and on the market level.

It shows quality standard production and products. It is given as an award for continous improvement of quality products.

The essence is that it challenges and encourages manufacturers to produce quality standard products in Nigeria.

Products that fall under this qualification, are issued a licence/permit to display the NIS quality Mark on their product.
